The scientific name of L-Valine is L-2-Amino-3-methylbutyric acid. This amino acid is white crystals or crystalline powder; No smell, slightly sweet taste then bitter. Melting point is about 315 degrees. 5% aqueous solution of the PH value is 5.5-6.5. Heat, light and air stability. Soluble in water (8.85g/100ml, 25 degrees), almost insoluble in alcohol and ether.
